Notifications

In this article, you will get to know more about notifications and how to manage them.


You will specifically learn more about managing the various email notifications that are sent from Turis.

 

Buyer notifications:

Admin notifications:

Sales agent notifications:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To access Notifications, you start by clicking on ⚙️ Settings in the menu on the left-hand side, followed by clicking on Notifications

 

 

 

 

 

 

Buyer notifications:

 

Notify buyers on new orders 

When the box is ticked, it means whenever an order has been placed, by the seller (admin), the Buyer will be notified by email about an new order has been placed.

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Buyer will not receive any email notification when an order has been placed by the seller (admin).

 

 

 

Notify buyers on order updates

When the box is ticked, it means whenever an order has been updated, by the seller (admin), the Buyer will be notified by email about the order update.

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Buyer will not receive any email notification when an order has been updated  by the seller (admin).

 

 

 

 

Notify buyers when order status is (enable notification to view options)

When the box is ticked, it means the Buyer will get an email notification when an order has a specific status. 

 

 

In the example here, the Buyer will receive an email notification when the order has the status 'Completed'. You can change and customize this as you want, to make it fit your order flow statuses. 

 

Simply click on it and the dropdown will unfold, for you to choose your preferred order status setting.

 

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Buyer will not receive any email notification when an order has changed its status.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Admin notifications:

 

Notify admins on new orders

When the box is ticked, it means the Admin will receive an email notification, when a new order has been placed in the shop.

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Admin will not get notified when a new order has been placed. 

 

 

 

 

Notify admins on order update

When the box is ticked, it means the Admin will receive an email notification, when an order has been updated.

 

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Admin will not get notified when an order has been updated. 

 

 

 

 

Notify admins when products are out of stock

When the box is ticked, it means the Admin will receive an email notification, when products are out of stock in the shop. 

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Admin will not get notified products are sold out and thus out of stock. 

 

 

 

🔔 Please note: if backorders are allowed, it will still be possible for your customers to place orders, despite of the stock level being '0'. 

 

 

When backorders are allowed, the email notification you will receive as Admin, will look like the email below.

 

 

 

 

When backorders are not allowed, the email notification you will receive as seller (admin) will look like the email below.

 

 

 

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the Admin will not receive any email notification when products are out of stock.

 

 

💡 Pro Tip! keep this box ticked if you want to have the full overview and get notified, whenever your products are out of stock.

 

 

 

 

Notify admin when an order has a buyer comment

When the box is ticked, it means the Admin will receive an email notification, when an order has a comment from a Buyer

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the seller Admin will not receive any email notification, when a Buyer has left a comment on the order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sales agent notifications:

 

Notify sales agents on new orders (submitted by the agent)

When the box is ticked, it means the Sales Agent will receive an email notification/order confirmation, when an order has been submitted.

 

 

Conversely, when the box is not ticked, it then means the seller Sales Agent will not receive any email notification, when an order has been submitted.

 

 

 

 

Remember to click the "Save" button, to save the changes you have made.
