Products

In this article, you will get to know more about how you use product labels, show stock visibility, sorting options as well as configuring product container sizes.

To access Products, you start out by clicking on ⚙️ Settings in the menu on the left-hand side followed by clicking on Products.

 

 

When clicking on Products,  five sub categories - New products, Out of stock, Stock visibility, Sort options and Container Sizes - will appear. These sub categories will be explained and accounted for in the following sections. 

 

 

 

 

New product label

In Turis you can feature new products with a "New" label. This may be a good tool to show your Buyers a new product in your shop.

 

To get started, click on the sub category "New products" and this window will appear.

 

 

Here you can define how many days the label should be active and stay on a product. The default setting is 7 days.

 

 

You can also customize the label text and thereby change it to something else than "New!".

You have a maximum of 10 characters to play around with.

 

 

In addition to defining days and the text itself, you can customize the color schemes of the label. Here you can both define the background color as well as the text color.

 

 

Just click on the color box to define and set a new color scheme.

Here you can drag the color picker (the little white circle) around in the color chart, to find the color you like. Or if you have a signature color scheme you and your brand uses, you can also add the exact Hex color code.  

 

 

Same goes for the label text color.

 

 

 

Remember to click "Save" once you have completed your changes.

 

 

What does it look like in my shop?

To switch on the label on a product, go to 📦 Products and find the product you want to use the label on.

 

Click on the product and tick the box saying "This a new product" and click "Save"

 

 

 

 

 

The label itself will be featured in the upper left corner of the product card, as displayed below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Out of stock label 

Just like you can add a "New" label on new products you can enable products that run out of stock to have an "Out of stock" label. The label is triggered when the stock level reaches '0'.

 

🔔 Please note: if you have backorders switched on, the "Out of stock" label will not be activated on a product, when the stock level reaches '0'.

 

 

 

Click on the sub category "Out of stock" and this window will appear.

 

The default text is "Out of stock" but you can customize it to your taste and fit.

You have a maximum of 24 characters to play around with.

 

 

If you want to customize the color scheme of the label's background and text color, then simply click on the color box to define and set a new color scheme.

Managing and displaying stock visibility

You can enable and choose to display stock levels in your shop. Here you get to display it as a traffic light in green, yellow and red, or you can choose to show the detailed stock level. 

This setting is by default switched off.

 

Click on the sub category "Stock visibility" and this window will appear.

 

 

If you tick the box "Yes", your window will now look like this.

 

 

Here you get to define and set what a high stock level is (green), a medium stock level is (yellow) and a low stock level is (red).

On the other hand if you want to show detailed stock levels in your shop, you simply tick the box "Yes"

 

 

Click "Save" once you have configured your preferred settings.

Product sorting options

You can define how your products should be sorted in your shop. You get to sort in five different ways; Newest, Recently edited, Most popular, A-Z or Z-A. 

 

Click on the sub category "Sort options" and this window will appear.

 

 

Click on the dropdown menu to choose how you want sort your products in the shop.

 

 

Then simply select one of the five sorting options. 

 

 

 

Remember to click "Save" once you have made your changes.

 

 


Container sizes

You can highlight and feature your products in two different container sizes. The standard size or the enlarged container size.

The standard size product container is the default one.

 

If you want to feature your products in larger containers, simply click on the enlarged product container.
