To access Products, you start out by clicking on ⚙️ Settings in the menu on the left-hand side followed by clicking on Products.
When clicking on Products, five sub categories - New products, Out of stock, Stock visibility, Sort options and Container Sizes - will appear. These sub categories will be explained and accounted for in the following sections.
Out of stock label
Just like you can add a "New" label on new products you can enable products that run out of stock to have an "Out of stock" label. The label is triggered when the stock level reaches '0'.
🔔 Please note: if you have backorders switched on, the "Out of stock" label will not be activated on a product, when the stock level reaches '0'.
Click on the sub category "Out of stock" and this window will appear.
The default text is "Out of stock" but you can customize it to your taste and fit.
You have a maximum of 24 characters to play around with.
If you want to customize the color scheme of the label's background and text color, then simply click on the color box to define and set a new color scheme.
Here you can drag the color picker (the little white circle) around in the color chart, to find the color you like. Or if you have a signature color scheme you and your brand uses, you can also add the exact Hex color code.
Same goes for the label text color.
