With Shop preview your admins, agents and yourself can get a quick overview over the available products along with placing orders swiftly.

Introduction to shop preview

For admins, you'll find shop preview in the product section in your top, right corner on your seller-side account (Products > Products)

However for sales agent, they will find this on their dashboard:

When Sales agent access shop preview they will only see the shop in the currency assigned to them, when they were created by an admin. This means, if you have any products without a price in that currency, the agent will not be able to see these products.

Admins will be shown the main shop currency selected in settings > Currencies.

Shop preview also does not show products in special price lists, if the product also does not have a price in "manage Prices" on the productcard. Therefore, if you only work with Special Price lists on your shop, your Sales agents should not place orders through Shop Preview.

Placing orders in Shop Preview

Placing order in Shop preview is only reserved for sales agent. With Shop preview your agents will be placing orders as 'Jane Doe' meaning there will be no retailer specifik details or disconts to the order they are about to place.

Start by opening shop preview and place the items your customer would like to purchase in the basket:

When you are finished placing items in the basket, you can review the order:

In checkout, please note that there is no informations about the receiver of the order (the retailer)

When the order has been reviewed and adjustments, if needed, has been made, you can proceed to submit the order.

When the order is submitted, sales agents will not be able to see the order on their account in orders, (This only applies to orders made through Shop Preview.) Therefore, details about the customer shoul be forwarded to the admins or owners of the shop. However, the details could also be written in the buyer's comment before submitting the order.

When the order is placed, it will look like this in the Admins/owners ordersection:

From here admins can change the information on the order on the pen-icon on 'Deliver to':

Choose 'New address' and fill out the fields with the customers information:

*Remember to fill all required fields marked with a */star

Then press "Save & Select" and the chosen information will be added to the order:

It is also possible for the sales agent to change the retailer information after the order is placed. To do this, they need to head to their order section and open the order. Here they will, just like from the admins order section, see a pen-icon by Deliver to:

When they press this a new window will pop up, where they can add the retailers/customers information in the tab; New address. All required fields are marked with a */star.

When filled, hit Save & Select.

The order is now finished and ready for any further processing.
