Did you know it's possible to bulk update most of your product data through our bulk uploader found in Tools?

To bulk update your products simply head to to Tools > Bulk uploader > Choose Products in the drop-down;

From here download the template and open this in Google Sheets or Excel.

When using this template it's very important to remember these columns must exist in the sheet when uploading the template back into Turis;

*Name

*SKU

*Category

*Stock

The only data from the above that cannot be updated are SKU's

From here delete all other columns except the above-mentioned fields and the fields you want to edit along with the products you don't want to update.

To give an example of this; If you want to update all colors you want to have the following fields in the sheet;

*Name

*SKU

*Category

*Stock

Colors

This would look like so;

Now enter all your new data into colors;

From there download the file as a .csv and upload this back into Tools > Bulk updater > Products

Click Upload and the new data will start processing;

When the loading bar has reached 100%, the data is uploaded to Turis - Do not exit the bulk uploader or update the page while the data is still being uploaded.

As good quality measure, make sure to check some products, after the upload is completed, to see if the update is correct;

When bulk updating products you can also have multiple fields to update at once, this means you don't have to do single uploads for each column you want to update.

When updating some of the data on the products there are a few things to have in mind;

  • The mentioned fields from earlier must be in the sheet

  • When updating variants data all 3 variant columns; Variant, Variant title and Size/color must be in the sheet

  • Images cannot be updated or removed through the bulk updater

  • SKU's must not be changed

  • Products cannot be deleted through the bulk updater
