Minimum Order Amount
The Minimum Order Amount is the minimum amount your retailers must spend per order to complete a purchase in your shop. You can set and adjust the Minimum Order Amount individually for each of the currencies activated in your shop or for individual retailers.
π Please note: If the Minimum Order Amount is set to '0', there is no minimum limit for your customers to place an order.
Why Set a Minimum Order Amount?
Setting a Minimum Order Amount can help you:
- Cover shipping and handling costs β Ensuring that each order is large enough to justify the cost of shipping and logistics.
- Increase order value β Encouraging retailers to purchase in larger quantities, which can improve your profitability.
- Streamline operations β Reducing the number of small, inefficient orders that take up time and resources.
- Adapt to currency differences β Adjusting minimum amounts per currency to account for exchange rates and purchasing power in different regions.
How to Update the Minimum Order Amount
To change the Minimum Order Amount:
- Go to Settings > Currencies in your admin panel
- Enter the new minimum price in the relevant field.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Once set, the Minimum Order Amount will be displayed to your customers in your B2B webshop. They will not be able to place an order unless they reach or exceed the specified amount.

- Align with retailer agreements β If you have negotiated specific terms with certain retailers, setting a custom Minimum Order Amount ensures compliance.
- Reduce administrative work β By minimizing small, low-value orders, you can focus on processing larger, more profitable ones.
