Sales Agent Guide: Optimizing Your Use of Turis

This article guides Sales Agents on how to use Turis in regards to creating retailers, buyers and how to make orders

Welcome to your comprehensive guide for using Turis as a sales agent. This resource will take you through the essential steps to efficiently create retailers, buyers, and manage orders, helping you streamline your workflow and ensure a seamless process.

Overview

Upon signing into Turis, you are directed to your dashboard, where you can easily create new orders for retailers, add notes, or place a quick order. In the sidebar, you will have access to users, images & content, and orders. Keep in mind, you’ll only see the orders, retailers, and buyers you’ve created or have been assigned to.

Creating a Retailer

To create a new retailer, simply navigate to the "Users" section in the sidebar and select "Retailers". Click the "+" button in the top right corner, which will prompt you to enter the necessary details. Key information includes:

  • Company Name
  • Address
  • Zip Code
  • City
  • Country
  • VAT Number
  • Email
  • Currency

Once the retailer is created, you’ll be given the option to send an invitation immediately or later, allowing them to set up their password.

Adding a Buyer

To add a buyer, go to the "Buyer" section under the retailer in the sidebar. Click the "+" button, fill in the mandatory fields, and link the buyer to a retailer. Don’t forget to send the buyer an invitation so they can create their password if needed.

Creating and Managing Orders

You’re now ready to create orders. From the dashboard, click on "Create Order" or go to the "Orders" section in the sidebar. Select the retailer and buyer, then start adding products to the basket.

After adding all the items, you can review the order in the basket, adjust delivery addresses, modify quantities, and finalize the order. Once submitted, the buyer will receive an order confirmation email, and the order will appear in your order section for tracking.

Quick Order (formerly Shop Preview)

Quick Order allows you to place orders directly and bypass choosing a company. This comes in handy especially if you are short on time or yet have created the retailer and buyer in Turis. The retailer can be added to the order after it's been placed. Note that the checkout site on the storeside, will be empty for invoice and delivery information.

Managing Orders

To update an existing order, simply click on the order in your sidebar. You can:

  • Add more products
  • Change quantities
  • Adjust delivery terms
  • Modify payment days
  • Update order status

Remember to save any changes you make.

By following these steps, you will be able to manage your retailer and buyer relationships efficiently, create accurate orders, and utilize features like Quick Order to streamline your tasks. Turis offers the tools you need to manage your sales pipeline effectively.
