Integrating Turis with Mailchimp

This guide will walk you through the steps for integrating your Turis account with Mailchimp, allowing you to seamlessly add and manage your retailers' subscriptions to your newsletters.

Introduction to Mailchimp

Mailchimp is a powerful email marketing platform that helps businesses manage and automate their email campaigns. With Mailchimp, you can create and send newsletters, track performance, and manage your subscribers. It also integrates seamlessly with Turis, making it easy to add new retailers to your email list and send tailored communications. This integration ensures that all your retailers are kept up-to-date with your latest promotions and product information.

Requirements

• Mailchimp Account: A username and password for your Mailchimp account. You can either share your credentials with us or invite us to your Mailchimp account.

Integration Process

Adding Retailers in Turis:

• When you add a new retailer in Turis, the system will automatically trigger a Double Opt-In email to the retailer. This email asks the retailer to confirm if they wish to subscribe to your newsletters.

Customization Option:

• If you prefer to bypass the Double Opt-In process and automatically add the retailer to Mailchimp without confirmation, we can disable this step for you. Once the retailer is saved in Turis, they will be automatically added to Mailchimp without needing to confirm via email.

Successful Double Opt-In Confirmation:

• If the retailer confirms their subscription (via Double Opt-In), they will be successfully transferred to your Mailchimp account with the tag B2B.
• From here, you can manage campaigns and communicate with the retailer through your Mailchimp account.

Failure to Confirm:

• If the retailer does not confirm their subscription via the Double Opt-In, they will not be added to your Mailchimp list.

Additional Information:

• Language Preference: All retailers will be assigned DK (Danish) as their language in Mailchimp. You can request another language than DK (Danish).
• Updates to Existing Retailers: If a retailer already exists in your Mailchimp account, their information will be updated based on the new details provided in Turis.
• Retailer Creation & Search: New retailers are created and searched in Mailchimp based on the retailer's email address.
