🔄 Shopify Importer: Transfer Your Products to Turis

The Shopify Importer makes it easy to transfer your products from your Shopify store to the Turis platform. This saves you from manually creating products one by one. With the Shopify Importer, you can import your entire product catalog with just a few clicks. 🖱️

When you create your Turis account, you'll typically be presented with the option to use the Shopify Importer immediately. The process is simple: add the link to your Shopify store, and the import will automatically begin. 🚀

Key Points:

⏳ Do not interrupt the import: The import process can take several minutes depending on the number of products, and it is important not to interrupt it during this time.

🚫 No automatic update of new products: Please note that the Shopify Importer does not automatically update new products if they are created in Shopify after the initial import. You’ll need to manually re-run the import if you add new products later.

📦Imported data: The importer import product data such as product names, SKU's, EAN's, categories, variants, RRP's, wholesale prices, descriptions and images.

If you didn't get to import your products during setup or you might need to import new products, you are also able to import your products while logged into your Turis admin account. You can always find it in the platform in Tools > Bulk Uploader

or on your product page (Products > Products) in Bulk action

When doing a another import of your products, the import will not overwrite existing data on already-imported products - This means if your want to use the importer to update existing products, you would first need to delete all products and then import these again from Shopify.  

Deleting all products can easily also be done via Bulk action.

As with importing the products during the initial set-up, you will be presented with a page that allows you to enter your Shopify URL and proceed with the import;

Depending on your Turis set-up, you might need to do some adjustments to the products after the import - When going through the imported products make sure to keep an eye out for these fields;

• Variants
• Categories
• Wholesale prices
• Case quantities
• Descriptions

Edits to these fields can be done manually on the actual products or using our Bulk Uploader for Products.

Furthermore, please have in mind the Shopify importer does not import the current stock levels on the products from Shopify, nor does this update stock levels.

*If you are integrating Turis with other Softwares make sure, that the SKU's, that are corresponding with your other systems, are already entered on the the Products in Shopify as this ensures everything works smoothly.
